Kickoff
We were, once again, invited to the Lakeshore FIRST Robotics Education Center. This was one of the Official Kickoff Sites for FIRST and we were able to collaborate with 8 other FRC Teams from Northeast Wisconsin.
We watch the game reveal together and then break into teams to dive into the game manual. Lakeshore FIRST are gracious hosts, allowing us to collaborate with all the experience they have to offer. As a young team, this invaluable for us to be around and we are very appreciative.
After a few hours of diving in, and a lot of pizza and soda, we get back together with the other teams and review what we've learned and ask questions of other teams. This is all capped off with a few amazing rounds of "Human Robot". It's just what it sounds like. Human players, pretending to be the robots on the field. It's chaos and fun- and helps the teams visualize what it will be like on the field.
